How to disconnect and reactivate a source

This page will explain how to disconnect a source or reactivate a source that was disconnected in error.

This function is restricted to K Administrators

Disconnecting a Source

  • Select Platform Settings in the side bar

  • In the pop-out side panel, under Integrations click on Sources

  • Click the edit icon next to the source you want to deactivate

  • Click the Deactivate button on the top right hand corner

  • A pop up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to Deactivate the source

  • Once you refresh the source list, the source status will now say ‘Deactivated’

Reactivating a disconnected source

  • Select Platform Settings in the side bar

  • In the pop-out side panel, under Integrations click on Sources

  • Click the edit icon next to the source you want to reactivate

  • In the grey bar click on Reactivate

  • Once you click reactivate, the process will immediately kick off. While the source status may say it’s ‘scheduled or unscheduled’ it will take time for the data assets to reactivate in K

  • To check the reactivation status, access the Monitor page under Platform Management

Note: If you are re-activating a manual source, the manual source retains all previously data that was previously uploaded. After re-activating a manual source, always download a new template to check what has previously been manually uploaded to the source.
