Creating an alert for new issues

There are times you may want to be alerted of new issues being created. For example, for issues that are created that are not linked to any asset (and no Data Steward will be alerted).

To configure this alert, you will need to first create a new filter in Search.

How to configure an alert for new issues

Step 1) Go to search and search *

• By using the wildcard, you will return all results.

Step 2) Scroll down to Issues

Step 3) Configure the following filters

• Add Modification Badge Updated

  • Set this to the timeframe for when you want to be alerted e.g. Last day if you want to capture all issues created in the last day to configure a daily alert.

    

• Update Workflow Status

  • Set to: To do

  

Step 4) Save the filer. Give it a name and set the privacy settings.

Step 5) Configure the alert from the Filter page to send you any issues that get created.
