Managing Issues in K
This page will walk through how you can use K to manage data issues and help keep users informed about data assets impacted by data issues.
There are four key pages that support the management of data issues:
Issues Tab: Managing data issues linked specific to a data asset
Issues Board: Viewing and managing all data issues raised in K
Issues Dashboard: A management tool that can be accessed by Data Governance users to view insights about data issues
Ask K: To download an extract of all data issues
About the Issues Tab
You can navigate to the Issues Tab from the Data Profile

On this page, you can easily:
Add or link new data issues
When you create a new issue, if Jira integration has been enabled, you will also have the option of linking to an existing Jira ticket.
Refer to Issues management in K for more information around how to raise new data issues
Sort and filter the issues that have been linked to the data asset
Update issues raised directly in K
About the Issue Board
You can navigate to the Issue Board via the Ecosystem side panel

Through the Issue Board, you can quickly filter, sort and review all data issues that have been raised or linked in K.
When you first navigate to the Issue Board via My Ecosystem, the default filter will display issues assigned to you.
You can also click on the top right buttons to either Create a new issue or Import an external Jira ticket via the ticket URL.
About the Issue Dashboard
The Issue Dashboard provides key summary insights about data issues raised in K. To further tailor the insights, you can filter the Dashboard by Domain, Status and Priority.

When you click on any of the data points, a pop up will appear listing all the data issues. Click on the issue name to access issue details or you can click Open in Search to view all issues and download a copy

At the bottom of the Dashboard, there are also helpful recommendations on issues you may want to further investigate or have aged and require follow-up. These recommendations also adjust based on the filters you set at the top of the Dashboard.

Extracting list of Issues via Ask K
Data Governance users and Data Managers can use Ask K to download a list of all Issues by Data Source You can download a list
