KADA is a data intelligence platform that helps organisations discover, understand, and govern their data assets. It provides data cataloguing, lineage, ownership, and data quality capabilities in one place.
Q: What does “K” refer to?
Throughout the documentation, “K” refers to the core KADA platform. KADA Data Quality is referred to separately as KDQ.
Q: What browsers does KADA support?
KADA supports all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
Q: How do I get access to KADA?
Access is managed by your organisation’s KADA administrator. Contact your admin to request an account or a change in permissions. See K User Roles for an overview of the available roles.
Q: What’s the difference between a Data Owner and a Data Steward?
A Data Owner is accountable for a data asset — they make decisions about it. A Data Steward is responsible for the day-to-day management and quality of that asset. See How to link Data Owners and Stewards for more detail.
