New Features:

• KDQ Agentic: New DQ capability leveraging AI to profile and generate DQ rules.

  • DQ in K has been significantly uplifted to support KDQ Agentic.

• Business Lineage: See upstream or downstream assets at key layers (Raw, Consumption, Presentation) without having the navigate complex lineage maps.

  • Propagation: Terms, DQ Tests and Warnings applied on business lineage are propagated downstream. A failure on a DQ Test will be propagated to every downstream asset; increasing visibility for downstream impacted stakeholders.

  • Propagation suppression: Automated links can be suppressed via the K UI.

• Embedding / Embedded Governance: Update embeddings now display additional context such as failed DQ tests, propagated terms and System of Record.

• List Builder: Upload a group of table names to create a List in K.

• New properties added to all assets on the Sidebar:

  • Priority: Use for filtering alerts on critical assets only.

  • DQ dashboard include fast link to DQ Alerts

Improvement / Bug Fixes

• Alerts: Updated alert framework now includes the ability to deliver to storage locations along with emails. Alert links back to K for results. now route back to K.

• Warning notices

  • No longer deleted at expiry

  • Banner displays rich text in description

  • Notices section added to all profile page. Displays active and inactive warnings

• Bulk action to List available to all users: All users can now access Bulk action - add to list.

• Filters renamed to Saved Searches

• Search

  • Scope filter: Default filter that can be used to filter to all assets or your assets (owner or steward of or linked to a collection you are the owner or steward of)

  • Hierarchy in filters: Selecting a parent instance in a collection hierarchy will also select all the child instances.

  • Add filter modal: Enhanced to provide detailed description for each filter

  • Connect BI tool: Connect a BI tool to a K result set using search

  • Search slide out now displays Saved searches

• DQ Dimension can be edited on Issues that are synchronised to an external issue management tool

• Alias renamed to Known As.

  • Is no longer exclusive to Terms and can be added to any Data Asset.

  • Now accepts any value - not linked to collection instances.

  • Can accept multiple values.

• Impact Assessment controls

  • Status filter: Allows users to quickly sort impact assessments by their status

  • Cancel: New option to cancel impact assessments that are running.

• MCP updates to leverage enhanced search index.
