Common questions for Ask K

Ask K is a way to get answers to your questions such as who is using a set of reports. This page provides commonly asked questions that you can answer using Ask K.

Who are the monthly users of my reports

1. Go to Explore

2. Click on Reports

3. [Optional] Apply filters to narrow your scope of reports

   1. Example: Filter out unused reports (Usage exclude Unused)

   2. Example: Filter out reports based on workspace (Location exclude [Workspace ABC])

4. Click on Download

5. Select Custom extract using Ask K

6. Select Asset usage by Users template

7. Set the following configurations

   1. Select per month

   2. Select usage type: Read and Download

   3. Select usage period: Last 90 days (or custom if you want go back further)

8. [Optional] Add any other asset details to the export

9. Click Generate export

The report generated will provide a monthly breakdown of all reports and their users.

To see who is using each report per month, consider pivoting the data in Excel.
